DADvocate Contests
I’m announcing two contests for the DADvocate project.

Win Free Twitter Background!
The first contest will start next week. We are working on a header for the new DADvocate Project web site. I love the designer I’m working with and want to promote her work, I want to grow and promote the DADvocate community, and I want the community to be as much a part of this project as possible. Havana is the designer I’m working with. Check out her web site at Havana-Designes.com She has agreed to opening up this process to our community for feedback on the design. We’ll be publishing our discussions, and sketches and asking the community for feedback. The contest winner will receive a free Twitter background paid for by me and designed by Havana. The only thing you have to do to enter the contest is leave a comment on any of the DADvocate Project design discussions. I will be picking the winner based solely on my discretion of who I felt provided the most value in the comments. By the way we are going with some kind of super hero theme so stay tuned and let us know your thoughts. This contest is open to all readers. You do not have to be a dad to participate in this contest.
Here is an outline of the process that Havana provided.
Win Free iPad!
The second contest I’m announcing is to encourage more people to complete The DADvocate survey in a shorter timeframe. In order to be entered to win a free iPad you have complete the entire DADvocate Survey and sign up to receive email updates about the project. The email sign up is at the end of the survey. Anybody who completed the survey already and provided an email address will be automatically entered into the contest. The winner will be randomly selected from all participants in the survey. The contest will go until we have 1000 entrants. There are a lot of people offering contests saying they will buy you the biggest and best iPad I unfortunately will not be able to afford to do that so the contestant will have to be satisfied with the cheap wifi only iPad. However if someone decides to donate a better one to the cause I’ll be happy to update this post with the good news.
